Drug Interactions With Fluphenazine (Cont.)

 
Apomorphine
Fluphenazine may decrease the effectiveness of medications for Parkinson's disease, including apomorphine. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Bromocriptine
Fluphenazine may decrease the effectiveness of medications for Parkinson's disease, including bromocriptine. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Chlorpromazine
Chlorpromazine can increase the level of fluphenazine in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your fluphenazine dosage to prevent this interaction from occurring.
 
Delavirdine
Delavirdine can increase the level of fluphenazine in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your fluphenazine dosage to prevent this from occurring.
 
Fluoxetine
Fluoxetine can increase the level of fluphenazine in your blood, which may increase your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your fluphenazine dosage to keep this from occurring.
 
Levodopa-Containing Medications
Fluphenazine may decrease the effectiveness of medications for Parkinson's disease, including levodopa products. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Paroxetine
Paroxetine can increase the level of fluphenazine in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your fluphenazine dosage to prevent this interaction from occurring.
 
Pramipexole
Fluphenazine may decrease the effectiveness of medications for Parkinson's disease, including pramipexole. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
