Haldol Side Effects

Some of the more common side effects of Haldol include nausea, hair loss, and constipation. In most cases, side effects are minor and can easily be treated. However, you should contact your healthcare provider if you experience more serious side effects, such as a painful erection that does not go away, muscle tension, or confusion.

An Introduction to Haldol Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Haldol® (haloperidol). However, not everyone who takes Haldol will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate the medication well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
