Invega and Breastfeeding

It is known that Invega passes through breast milk. However, it is not known what effects the medication may have on a breastfed infant. An Overview of Invega and Breastfeeding

Invega® (paliperidone) is passed through breast milk. Because of the potentially serious side effects that could occur in the nursing infant, the manufacturer of Invega does not recommend that Invega be used in breastfeeding women. Therefore, if you are breastfeeding or thinking of breastfeeding and have been prescribed Invega, make sure to let your healthcare provider know.
