Bromocriptine
Loxitane may decrease the effectiveness of medications taken for Parkinson's disease, including bromocriptine. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Carbamazepine
Carbamazepine can decrease the level of Loxitane in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to increase your Loxitane dosage to prevent this interaction from occurring.
 
Levodopa-Containing Medications
Loxitane may decrease the effectiveness of medications taken for Parkinson's disease, including products containing levodopa. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Lorazepam
Combining lorazepam and Loxitane can increase your risk of serious side effects, including difficulty breathing or very low blood pressure (hypotension). Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Pramipexole
