Loxitane Side Effects

While most people tolerate the drug well, it is possible to experience side effects while taking Loxitane. Reactions to the drug include drowsiness, weakness, and insomnia. If you are experiencing a worsening of psychotic symptoms, unexplained bruising, or signs of an allergic reaction, be sure to seek immediate medical attention. These side effects are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider.

An Introduction to Loxitane Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Loxitane® (loxapine). However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Loxitane. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
