Loxitane UsesLoxitane uses are primarily focused on the treatment of schizophrenia. It may also be combined with psychotherapy. The drug is believed to work, in part, by affecting dopamine levels in the brain. While Loxitane cannot cure schizophrenia, it can help control symptoms. Sometimes, a healthcare provider will recommend "off-label" Loxitane uses, such as treating agitation, dementia, or psychotic depression.
