When certain medications, such as some antibiotics or lithium, are taken together with Haldol, drug interactions can potentially occur. Some of these drug interactions with Haldol can cause a dangerous, irregular heart rhythm called QT prolongation. Therefore, in order to reduce the chances of Haldol interactions, you should be sure to tell your healthcare provider about all of the drugs you may be taking.
