If the drug is not producing satisfactory results, or if bothersome side effects occur, a healthcare provider may recommend an alternative to Navane. An Overview of Navane AlternativesNavane® (thiothixene) is a prescription medicine that has been licensed to treat schizophrenia. Navane is part of a group of typical antipsychotics or first-generation antipsychotics.
For most people, Navane is effective at treating symptoms of these conditions. Most people also tolerate the medication well.
