How Should Thioridazine Be Stored?

Thioridazine should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The tablets should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your thioridazine as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Available Strengths

Generic thioridazine tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Thioridazine 10 mg
  • Thioridazine 25 mg
  • Thioridazine 50 mg
  • Thioridazine 100 mg.
     

Alternatives to Thioridazine

There are several alternatives to thioridazine for the treatment of schizophrenia. In addition to other "typical" antipsychotics, there are newer "atypical" antipsychotics. Atypical antipsychotic medications for schizophrenia can include:
