Storage Methods

Navane should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The capsules should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep Navane and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your Navane as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double your dose.
 

Strengths

Navane capsules are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Navane 1 mg (available in generic only, as brand-name Navane 1 mg capsules are no longer available)
  • Navane 2 mg
  • Navane 5 mg
  • Navane 10 mg
  • Navane 20 mg.
 

Alternatives to Navane

There are several alternatives to Navane for the treatment of schizophrenia. In addition to other "typical" antipsychotics, there are also newer "atypical" antipsychotics. Atypical antipsychotic medications for schizophrenia can include:
