Generic Stelazine

Generic Stelazine has been available since all of the patents for the brand-name version expired. In fact, brand-name Stelazine is no longer manufactured, and the generic version is the only one available. The medication is available in tablet form and four different strengths. Several companies currently manufacture generic Stelazine, including Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, and Apotheca, Inc.

Stelazine® (trifluoperazine hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine known as a phenothiazine that has been licensed to treat the following conditions:
 
The drug was originally manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. However, the patents for all of the Stelazine products have expired, and each is now available in generic form. In fact, brand-name Stelazine is no longer manufactured.
 

Strengths of Generic Stelazine

Generic Stelazine tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Trifluoperazine 1 mg tablets
  • Trifluoperazine 2 mg tablets
  • Trifluoperazine 5 mg tablets
  • Trifluoperazine 10 mg tablets.
