Who Should Not Take Stelazine?

You should not take Stelazine if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Stelazine, trifluoperazine hydrochloride, or any of the inactive ingredients used in making Stelazine. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have a blood disorder, which Stelazine may make worse.
     
  • Have liver disease.
     
  • Are taking medications or substances that cause significant drowsiness.
     
  • Are in a coma or a state of decreased consciousness.
