Thioridazine (Cont.)

Overdose With Thioridazine

People who take too much thioridazine may have overdose symptoms that could include:
 
  • Irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias)
  • A slow heart rate (bradycardia) or rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Drowsiness
  • Confusion or agitation
  • Seizures
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Intestinal obstruction (blockage)
  • Coma.
     
If you happen to overdose on thioridazine, seek medical attention immediately.

Thioridazine: Storage Methods

Thioridazine should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The tablets should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep thioridazine and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

Thioridazine: What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your thioridazine as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double your dose of thioridazine.

  • Thioridazine 10 mg
  • Thioridazine 25 mg
  • Thioridazine 50 mg
  • Thioridazine 100 mg.
