Generic Trilafon

Since all of the patents have expired, generic Trilafon is now available under the name Perphenazine tablets. In fact, only generic Trilafon is available because the brand-name medication is no longer manufactured. The medication is available in four strengths, and several companies manufacture it, including Ivax Pharmaceuticals, Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.

 

An Overview of Generic Trilafon

Trilafon® (perphenazine) is a prescription medicine known as a "typical antipsychotic" that has been licensed to treat schizophrenia and severe nausea and vomiting.
 
Trilafon was originally manufactured by Schering-Plough Corporation. However, the patents for all Trilafon products have expired, and each one is now available in generic form. In fact, brand-name Trilafon is no longer manufactured.

  • Perphenazine 2 mg
  • Perphenazine 4 mg
