Zyprexa 10 mg Tablets
When treating schizophrenia or bipolar disorder with Zyprexa® (olanzapine), your healthcare provider may prescribe Zyprexa 10 mg tablets once daily. However, the actual dose your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, such as your age, the severity of your conditions, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you are currently taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements).
10 mg Zyprexa tablets are available in the form of regular tablets and orally disintegrating tablets (sold under the name Zyprexa Zydis®).
Zyprexa can be taken either in the morning or at night. However, Zyprexa should be taken at the same time each day to maintain even levels of the drug in your blood. If Zyprexa causes bothersome drowsiness or dizziness for you, ask your healthcare provider if you can take your Zyprexa at bedtime to decrease these side effects.
