Zyprexa and Sex Drive
Zyprexa is known to cause changes in sex drive (known as libido). In clinical studies documenting the side effects of Zyprexa, a decreased sex drive affected between 1 in every 100 and 1 in every 1,000 people.
Zyprexa and Ejaculation Problems
Zyprexa is also known to cause ejaculatory problems, such as delayed ejaculation. In clinical studies documenting the side effects of Zyprexa, ejaculation problems affected between 1 in every 100 and 1 in every 1,000 men.
Zyprexa and Impotence
Impotence is a relatively rare side effect of Zyprexa. Between 1 in every 100 and 1 in every 1,000 men taking Zyprexa have reported problems with impotence.
Will Zyprexa Cause Sexual Side Effects in You?
It is impossible for your healthcare provider to know whether you will develop any of these Zyprexa sexual side effects. Also, if a person does develop sexual side effects while taking Zyprexa, it is challenging to know whether these problems are caused by the condition being treated or by Zyprexa itself. This is because sexual symptoms are common with a number of the conditions that Zyprexa is used to treat.
If you develop sexual side effects while taking Zyprexa, make sure to talk with your healthcare provider. There is treatment that he or she may be able to recommend. Depending on how severe your Zyprexa sexual side effects are, he or she may also recommend that you adjust your
Zyprexa dosage or try another

bipolar disorder medication.
